the story

For over 3 decades, Diane & Michael Mina, side by side have shared the love of food, celebrations and hospitality, both devoted in creating a culinary experience like no other.

Michael Mina, world-renowned celebrity chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and founder of the Mina Group, a restaurant management company operating 45 restaurants worldwide.

More than a mix

 Inspired to make a better tasting premier mix for their restaurants, Diane sought to create a first of its kind heirloom bloody mary mix filled with garden goodness, bold spices and freshness.

In fall of 2016, Diane’s blends caught the attention of Williams Sonoma President Janet Hayes, at the “Michael Mina Tailgate at Levi’s Stadium.” It was then that Janet and Diane share their bloody stories and collaborated on bringing this garden blend to the market place. “Diane’s Bloody Mary” launched with Williams Sonoma June of 2017.

Brewed Mary “The Bloody Beer Mixer …

Michelada Phenomenon -

Its a fact that the best tasting Michelada is, icy, spicy and tart. From its origin, the ingredients were ice, lime, salt, hot sauce of choice, and maybe just maybe, a dab of Worcestershire or Maggi Jugo and that was it - Nothing else.

However, through years of evolution in the mixology world, somewhere, somehow, someone, added that umami flavor we all crave, in this case, the fruit of the tomato, holding both sweet & savory flavors - Thus creating a perfect balance to this chill beer cocktail.

Ready and up to the “Miche” challenge, I created the, “Brewed Mary Bloody Beer Mixer,” to satisfy both the easygoing Michelada fans, as well as the Bloody Beer aficionados. “The Ice Cold Beer” stays center stage with the authenticity of a straightforward, absolutely delicious cocktail mix without all the extras.

The Brewed Mary embodies the same garden goodness and quality as both, Diane's Original and the Dirty Diane's as they all start with using 100% organic heirlooms that no leading "michelada" mix, with or without beer can claim and what we hold so proudly.
